Description

We are a small indie studio from Perm, Russia. Our projects are mythology and ethnic-based with the narrative and worlds supported by historical facts and folklore. The name of the studio comes from wordplay of "Mort", which is French for "dead" and Komi for "a man", and "Matryoshka", the famous Russian doll. Our team currently consists of five people.

History

Our team consists of five people: Vladimir Beletsky (Game Designer, Writer), Ildar Alimov (Art Director), Mikhail Shvachko (Sound Director and Composer), Andrey Khudozhidkov (Programmer) and Darya Solonets (Animator). Studio released their first game, The Mooseman in 2017 and started working on a game based on Russian Folklore, called Black Book
